1st Session: Outline on Left Shoulder

My own custom design of Firebrand, working closely with a professional tattoo artist before approving the final concept image. I had to... ummm. "improvise" on how to deal with the crotch area, so I decided it was best to have some armor down there, with a demonic spin naturally ;-). The angle of the photo makes the castle wall looked curved, but I assure you its virtically straight on the arm.

The color phase will include a torchlite glow coming from the window, giving Firebrand some highlighted reflection from that direction. There will also be some moonlight from above for another highlight effect. It's going to look trippy-badass!

There was only some slight pain during the application, but the real pain came later. The next day, my skin felt like it had been scraped off by a nasty asphalt burn! I have to let the skin heal for at least 2 weeks, maybe longer. Can't wait to get the color filled in!
