OSSC Perfect line2x Dreamcast VGA + Toro Box:

Note: Make sure the Toro Box is set to H+V sync or the OSSC won't detect the VGA signal. Also make sure to use VGA cable for this guide to work properly.

Video in proc:

Video LPF    = Off
Red Offset   = 128
Green Offset = 128
Blue Offset  = 128
Red Gain     = 2
Green Gain   = 4
Blue Gain    = 5     (These Gain values are adjusted to my Dreamcast in order to balance the whites)

Sampling opt:

Sampling Phase  = Do NOT attempt to adjust this setting until ALL other values in this text file have been set. Sampling is sensitively based on output & advanced timing setting, and is always console-specific. Once you're ready to adjust Sampling phase, the trick is to find the least noisy setting with sharply defined edges. 315 worked best on my Dreamcast, but may not be optimal for your Dreamcast, so use your best judgment.

480p in sampler  = 480p DTV
Allow TVP HPLL2X = On
Allow upsample2x = Off

<Adv. Timing:  (shows up due to my line 2x setting for 480 content, which you'll see the settings for later in this list)

H. backporch  = 110
H. active     = 640
V. synclen    = 6
V. backporch  = 35
V. active     = 479  (Code Veronica renders in 479 lines. I'm thinking this is the case with all DCVGA games.)

Sync opt.: (leave all of these at factory defaults)

Output opt.:

scroll down to "480p/576p proc" and press right or left to change the setting to "Line2x".


Now go back to "Sampling phase" and adjust the value for best possible picture.
