Sega Saturn NTSC Model 1 352x224 Optimal OSSC Timing: -------------------- Input Cable: RGBS SCART Cable OSSC Firmware = 0.81a (use 0.81 if you don't have audio version of OSSC) -------------------- Note: Although these settings are based on my model 1 Sega Saturn, the only values that may or may not differ from other Saturn hardware are the following: 1. Sampling phase (this always will be restricted to a case-by-case basis). 2. Advanced timing for 352x224's H. backporch. 3. Advanced timing for 352x224's V. backporch. Everything else should be universal. -------------------- Video in proc > Video LPF = 9MHz (SDTV) -------------------- Sync opt. > Analog sync LPF = 2.5MHz (max) -------------------- Output opt. > 240p/288p proc = Whatever linex mode you prefer. LineXx mode = 320x240 optim. -------------------- Sampling opt. > 320x240: H. samplerate = 455 H. synclen = 31 H. backporch = 49 H. active = 352 V. synclen = 3 V. backporch = 15 V. active = 240 Back out to "Sampling phase" and adjust until all pixels are sharp with the least amount of color bleed. Mine was perfect at 22 degrees. -------------------- Post-proc. > Note: Only use Vertical masking if your game is meant to run in 224p. In which case, adjust vertical mask to 8 pixels. --------------------
