Game Boy Interface on the Game Boy Player for the Gamecube Optimal OSSC Timing: -------------------- Input Cable: Official Nintendo Component Cable OSSC Firmware = 0.81a (use 0.81 if you don't have audio version of OSSC) GBI Driver Package: 20180505 GBI Driver Used: "gbihf-gcvideox.dol+cli" -------------------- Note: Although these settings are based on my Gamecube with official component cables, the only values that may or may not differ from your GBI setup with official component cables are the following: 1. Sampling phase (this always will be restricted to a case-by-case basis). 2. Advanced timing for 320x240's H. backporch. 3. Advanced timing for 320x240's V. backporch. Everything else should be universal. -------------------- I found using the "gbihf-gcvideox.dol+cli" driver gave the best possible results. As such, the values presented below are based on that driver. -------------------- Video in proc. > Video LPF = 35MHz (Unusual for 240p content, but is the best setting for official component cables used in making this profile) -------------------- Sync opt. > Analog sync LPF = 2.5 MHz (max) -------------------- Output opt. > 240p/288p proc = Whatever linex mode you prefer. LineXx mode = 320x240 optim. -------------------- Sampling Opt. > (320x240) H. samplerate = 433 H. synclen = 31 H. backporch = 51 H. active = 320 V. synclen = 3 V. backporch = 15 V. active = 240 Back out to "Sampling phase" and adjust until all pixels are sharp with the least amount of color bleed. Mine was perfect at 225 degrees. -------------------- Post-proc. > Horizontal mask = 40 pixels Vertical mask = 40 pixels Note: These maskings are based on your H. backporch and V. backporch being perfectly centered, so make sure you have them set correctly! --------------------
